The CKPC is rolling out the ‘Me to We’ outdoor leadership programme this academic year, setting a trend for out-of-school learning through promoting experiential education. The programme offers various activities in nature to develop students’ leadership and problem-solving skills and build their resilience, willpower and grit. Through exploration of nature, college students learn to appreciate and protect nature, and rediscover the beauty of a simple and authentic world. The programme also helps expand their life experience, build team spirit and positive outlook on life, and inspire them to give back to society.
‘Me to We’ is a key project of the CKPC this year to train student leaders. Since its launch, it has offered students projects such as training and certificate courses for associate facilitators of experiential education, training on level I single rope technique, overseas expeditions, and service learning programme.
