The Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management and the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Macau jointly organized the 5th module of International Integrated Resort Management in Nagasaki, Japan in July 2018. After its success, the 6th module was held in Macao from 30 November to 3 December. The programme attracted over 40 senior management officers of different sectors from Macao, Hong Kong, Japan and Malaysia. With the theme of ‘Contextual Mindset in Integrated Resort’, the four-day module included five seminars and one group presentation. Local scholars and key government officials were invited to talk about integrated resort. Topics covered applied economics for leisure industries, gaming policy and responsible gaming, and managerial accounting in hospitality and gaming. In addition, field trips to the integrated resorts and gaming enterprises in Macao were arranged to give the participants an insight into their operation and management models.
