With the sponsorship of its donor Galaxy Entertainment Group, the LCWC organized an exclusive screening of a documentary on the HZMB at UA Galaxy Cinema for more than 50 college teachers and students on 12 December. The film documented the challenges encountered during the HZMB construction. On the one hand, this project includes a bridge, a tunnel and some artificial islands and is a world wonder itself. On the other hand, the HZMB connects three important places in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a region with huge development potential. The LCWC staff and students found the documentary thought-provoking, as they were impressed by the building techniques of China and by the construction team’s determination to work against all odds. After the screening, quite a number of students said that they would be even more touched when passing by the bridge in the future.
