Galaxy Entertainment Group, donor of the LCWC, is committed to building a platform to broaden the horizons of local young people. As the national gold medalists were visiting Macao, Galaxy invited three Chinese champions to share their life experience with 200 students at the LCWC on 8 December. Li Shanshan, a gymnast, Xu Xin, a table tennis player, and Wang Xin, a badminton player talked about their preparation for the Olympics. The athletes encouraged students to enjoy the process instead of worrying about the outcome and to deal with pressure with a positive mindset. In addition to welcoming the athletes, the students eagerly raised questions during the event. Last but not least, the athletes visited the common facilities of the LCWC in company with the college master, Prof Yip Ming Chuen.
