Choi Kai Yau College (CKYC) holds the second High Table Dinner and Scholarship Award Ceremony

CKYC held its second High Table Dinner of this academic year on 24 January 2019 to celebrate its fifth anniversary of the college with over 250 guests attended. Participants included over 30 resident tutors and more than 40 students and teachers from Meng Xiancheng College of East China Normal University and Chongshi College of Xi’an Jiaotong University.

 

The High Table Dinner is a major annual event for all residential colleges of the University of Macau. It provides a formal setting for the participants to socialise, exchange ideas and learn from the success of distinguished speakers. Prof Ge Wei, interim vice rector, was the speaker of the night. On the topic of ‘My Journey to Macao’, he shared his studying experience in different places and his strong bonds with his supervisors. On the same occasion, the college also organised the award ceremony of the UM RC Foundation Scholarship sponsored by the University of Macau Development Foundation. Eight outstanding students were awarded scholarships totalling MOP62,000.
