MLC held the 1st High Table Dinner of the academic year in September 2017 with 216 participants. Dinner guests included the donor’s family member Dr. Ma Chi Ngai, who is also the President of the Administrative Committee of the Science and Technology Development Fund of the Macao SAR, as well as Prof. Lionel Ming-shuan Ni (Vice Rector of Academic Affairs) and Prof. Xu De Bao (College Master of MLC).

At the event, Prof. Xu gave a remark to warmly welcome all the students and guests, and then Prof. Ni introduced Dr. Ma to give a keynote speech. He talked about the development of Macao into a smart city and its major achievements, and shared his insights and expectations of its direction for future development. He also encouraged our students to study hard at UM and contribute to the development of Macao.
