Shiu Pong College (SPC) of the University of Macau (UM) and Chuanyuan College of Beihang University jointly organised a study tour to Beijing, giving SPC students the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technology.

During the five-day study tour, the students received leadership training from Wu Xin, head of the Department of Leadership and Organization Management at the School of Economics and Management of Beihang University. They visited the Aero-engine System Collaborative Design Center, the Beijing Air and Space Museum, and the School History Museum of Beihang University, and Tecent to gain a deeper understanding of China’s technological advancements, particularly in aerospace and digital technology. SPC students also made friends with volunteers from Chuanyuan College and Shie College of Beihang University. Together, they experienced Beijing’s unique cultural atmosphere by visiting the China National Arts and Crafts Museum, Houhai and the Summer Palace, as well as savouring Beijing cuisine.
