In accordance to the collaboration protocol between BNU , University of Macau and University of Macau Development Foundation, the bank has donated MOP750,000 to the University of Macau Development Foundation (UMDF) for the continued support of University’s education system and long-term development.

To eternalize the donation, a cheque presentation ceremony was held on 23 May 2024 at BNU headquarters with the presence of Mr. Huen Wing Ming Patrick, Second Vice Chair of the University Council of UM / Member of the Trustees Committee of the UMDF , Prof. Yonghua Song, Rector of UM / Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of UMDF, , Prof. Rui Martins, Vice Rector (Global Affairs) of UM, Ms.  Lam Yuk Yee Cindy , Director, Alumni and Development Office of UM, Mr. Carlos Cid Alvares, Chief Executive Officer of BNU, Mr. Sam Tou, Executive Director of BNU, Ms. Vitória Santos, Head of BNU Marketing and Public Relations, Ms. Kate Leong, Head of BNU Large Corporate Division and Ms. Annie Wan, Deputy Head of BNU Personal Banking Division.

UM thanked BNU for the continued support to its development, and will continuously push for Macau’s local teaching and research work, as well as strengthening the cultivation and development of local talent and professionals.
