To cultivate students’ love for the country and Macao, and deepen exchanges between universities in Macao and Beijing, Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC) at the University of Macau (UM) embarked on a seven-day exchange visit to Yuanpei College at Peking University (PKU)  from 21 May to 27 May 2023. The theme of the visit was ‘A Historical and Cultural Journey to Beijing’. During their stay in Beijing, faculty and students from both universities visited numerous scenic spots and historical sites, which deepened their understanding of Chinese history. The exchange activity facilitated a mutual learning experience between students from UM’s CYTC and PKU’s Yuanpei College, enabling them to gain insights into each other’s university life and cultural practices. Students formed strong bonds of friendship, creating unforgettable memories amidst Beijing’s vibrant humanistic atmosphere.
