From 8 July and 15 July 2019, a delegation from the SHEAC visited the ChungYing College of Xi’an Jiaotong University. During the trip, student representatives from the SHEAC, the ChungYing College and the Wu Yee Sun College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong shared their understanding of the educational philosophies and cultures of their residential colleges. They also attended four lectures on culture organised by the ChungYing College and visited many local cultural attractions. Through this trip, SHEAC students learned to appreciate the value of the residential college system of the University of Macau and the importance of holistic development. At the same time, they also gained a deeper understanding of fine traditional Chinese culture and current developments in the nation.
