Mr Ma Iao Hang, vice-president of the council of JNU and president of JNU General Alumni Association, and Prof Song Xianzhong, president of JNU, led a delegation to visit the MLC on 4 January 2019. Mr Ma also represented the donor of MLC on this occasion. Prof Xu De Bao, college master of the MLC, gave the visitors a warm reception and introduced to them the founding history, culture, and core value of the college. He also guided them on a tour of the college facilities. The visitors were deeply impressed by the development of the University of Macau and its residential college system.
