From 19 to 22 April 2019, a MCMC resident fellow led 13 students to join a service learning trip to the remote mountainous area of Hunan that was organised by Talent of People Charity Association of Macau. They visited the students under sponsorship in Jiang Yong County, Hunan Province. From the conversations with the families of the sponsored students, the MCMC students gained a better understanding of their living conditions and their persistence and positivity in life. The MCMC students also held sharing sessions at a school stadium respectively with local students under sponsorship and those who were not. The interactive games and the sharing of short videos inspired students to support each other and work towards their goals.
