The CKLC organised an excursion to Hong Kong on 23 January 2019 as part of the Global Perspective Series. Led by Resident Fellow Johnny Chan, the trip aimed to give students a better understanding about the finance, e-commerce and logistic industries of Hong Kong. The representative of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority shared the development of the financial system of Hong Kong and showcased the change made for the new banknotes. The representatives of the communication office of HKTVmall introduced the latest online shopping trends and the large-scale logistics operations in Hong Kong. Students raised many questions about big data and competitive advantages, gaining memorable experience from this trip.
