Prof Zhang Meifang, college master, and Dr Kevin Huang, associated master of the CKLC, were invited by the college donor to the 20th anniversary banquet of Cheong Kun Lun’s family corporation. During the event, Prof Zhang exchanged ideas with members of the donor family and thanked Mr Cheong Lok Tin for offering CKLC students summer internships and arranging for them a visit to Crowne Plaza Macau. She also took the opportunity to invite the head of its human resource department to the college to share about the development of hotel industry and his professional experience. During the banquet, Mr Cheong gave a speech on his personal development and the challenges he encountered when starting his own business, and said that he was grateful to those who helped him along the way. In addition, he would like to see more cooperation with the CKLC, such as visits to other enterprises of the family, and sharing of experience and industry development by professionals. Both parties are looking forward to deeper understanding and closer ties in the future.
