With the funding from UMDF, Prof. Peter A. Diamond, world-renowned economist and recipient of the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 2010, was invited to deliver a lecture titled ‘Good Pension Design’ at the Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences Lecture organized by the FBA at UM on 12th October 2018. In the lecture, Prof Diamond discussed the key elements of a pension system, and the pros and cons of various pension systems around the world. He pointed out the importance of establishing a good and healthy pension system.

The lecture attracted a full-house, including UM faculty members, students, and guests.
