On 6 November 2024, Lui Che Woo College (LCWC) of the University of Macau (UM) held a high table dinner to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The event was attended by nearly 230 students and guests.

The event featured esteemed guests including Mok Kai Meng, vice rector of UM; Philip Cheng, director of Galaxy Entertainment Group; Buddy Lam, director of Corporate Affairs of Galaxy Entertainment Group and senior alumni fellow of LCWC; Yip Ming Chuen, founding college master of LCWC; Janny Leung May Yee, college master of UM Choi Kai Yau College; Wong Man Chung, college master of UM Cheong Kun Lun College; and Paul Pang Chap Chong, dean of students.

The high table dinner began with opening remarks by Mok, who gave an overview of the development of UM’s residential college system and the milestones achieved over the past decade. Lam, also thanked those who have supported and contributed to the development of LCWC since its inception.

During the dinner, the video ‘LCWC Journey – A Decade in Review (2014-2024)’ was screened. The video showcased LCWC’s milestones, accomplishments, academic achievements, and community outreach initiatives over the past decade, as well as blessings from alumni. The guests also signed a 10th anniversary T-shirt as symbol of unity and shared achievements.
