College Master Yang Liu of Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College (MLC) of the University of Macau (UM), together with MLC students and faculty, visited Rixin College of Tsinghua University. The delegation was warmly received by College Master Wang Zhongchen and Associate Master Gu Tao of Rixin College. During the visit, both parties held a meeting to deepen cooperation and exchange.

During the meeting, Zhu Dejun, deputy director of the College Management Center of Tsinghua University, gave an overview of the development of Tsinghua’s college system and highlighted the importance of general education and the mentorship system. Wang Zhongchen, college master of Rixin College, reviewed the development of Rixin College and introduced its personalised education model. College Master Yang Liu introduced UM’s ‘4-in-1’ education model and MLC’s unique features, and invited Rixin College to visit Macao in the future. The two parties also engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as residential college systems and international cooperation. The meeting laid a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation between the two colleges. After the meeting, students and faculty from both UM and Tsinghua toured the Tsinghua campus, further deepening their mutual understanding.
