To celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Choi Kai Yau College (CKYC) and the Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC) of the University of Macau (UM) co-organised the National Day Movie Week with the theme of ‘Revisiting China’s glorious past through classical patriotic movies’ from 10 to 16 October 2022. The two residential colleges showed five excellent Chinese patriotic movies. More than 230 students and academic staff participated in the movie week and gave positive feedback on the activity.

The colleges organised post-screening sharing sessions for the participants to share their views. The movie week boosted patriotism among UM students and academic staff, inspiring everyone to contribute to the prosperity of the great motherland.
